BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The Samford volleyball team dropped their third and final match in the Central Florida Tournament today. The Bulldogs (0-5) fell to the Lady Paladins of Furman (2-4) by a score of 3-0.

The Bulldogs came out and played the first game well, keeping up with the Lady Paladins, and losing the game by only two points, 28-30. They were not as successful in the second and third games as they fell, 16-30 and 19-30, respectively.

“We played very well in the first game – you can tell by the score,” said Head Coach Michelle Durban. “Now it’s just a matter of minimizing errors and being able to maintain that focus from game one to game two and then to game three.”
