Samford Volleyball Takes On Birmingham-Southern

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The Samford volleyball team will travel across town tonight to take on Birmingham-Southern College at Bill Battle Coliseum at 7 p.m. Samford is ahead in the series with BSC five matches to two, and hopes to extend that lead to six matches as they look for their third win.

When Bulldogs last met the Panthers, Birmingham-Southern swept Samford in three straight games. This season, Samford looks for revenge and hopes to come out with a victory tonight.

Samford will be back in action this weekend as they host the Samford Barber’s Classic. They will take on the 49ers of Charlotte at 7 p.m., on Friday. Match play will resume on Saturday as the Bulldogs meet up with the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks at 1 p.m., and UNC-Asheville Bulldogs at 7 p.m.
